改良过的高中SAT考试去年开始启动。新的SAT取消了原有的英文写作，只剩下了英文阅读和数学两项。总分也从2,100分降到1,600分。
新泽西教育局日前公布了州内公立高中的平均SAT分数。州内的平均分数是1,075分，但是有19所高中的平均成绩高于1,300分，其中更有5所高中的平均成绩高于1,400分。
各郡的菁英高中仍然获得了最好的成绩，占据了榜单的前十二名。以下是去年SAT成绩最高的51所新泽西州公立高中。
注：前年排名第一的Academy for Math, Science and Engineering(Morris County)去年没有报告成绩。
